The Wikipedia page on audism was constructed in 2006. It looks to be beyond repair. Take a look at it and give some general opinions. I will eventually set up this page to critique it section by section.

One individual has suggested I fix the Wiki page related to audism. From my view it is beyond repair and needs complete replacement AFTER there is more discussion in the community of Sign Language Peoples. The Wiki Project Deaf which was set up to help improve and align Deaf related Wiki pages. Improving the audism page is not on their list. There is no priority to create a new page on audism. Hence, attempting to repair the existing page doesn't have any visible support from those who are trying to improve things. This comes as no surprise. Although the term audism is used routinely to describe discrimination against Deaf folks there really isn't much literature out there on the topic. The Wiki talk page is not equipped to handle that which doesn't have many references. The existing page on audism highlights the problem. The problem is not typical of most Wiki pages. But it is a problem none-the-less.
